The Lunar Year Capsule
Introducing the Felix Rings, created in celebration of the Lunar New Year. As a modern twist on our classic oval signet silhouette, the limited-edition pieces feature an open horseshoe motif — a timeless symbol of luck paying homage to the Year of the Horse.
Crafted from 100% recycled sterling silver, the Felix Rings embodies the symbol of luck while echoing the Year of the Horse through the signature horseshoe motif. The rings are casted in recycled sterling silver with a polished white rhodium plating, available in three distinct versions.
The name Felix, deriving from the Latin word for ‘lucky’, further reinforces this notion of good fortune. The design seamlessly reflects Tom Wood’s commitment to bring refined craftsmanship forward, ushering in the energy of 2026.
Known as one of the most significant holidays in Asian culture, the Lunar New Year is an annual festival celebrating the beginning of a new year based on the lunisolar calendar. Each year embodies one of the 12 animals of the Chinese Zodiac, marking 2026 as the Year of the Horse; defined by the element of Fire.
Taking place when the first full moon falls between January and February, the festival embraces a period of family reunion; honoring ancestors and welcoming good fortune and prosperity into the coming year.
The limited-edition capsule is available online, in Tom Wood flagship stores, our dedicated space at Dover Street Market Ginza, and with selected retailers worldwide.
