LOW IMPACT JERSEY

Our low impact jersey is produced in Portugal and all products are made of 100% third-party certified organic cotton. The line consists of classic staple pieces such as t-shirts and sweatshirts. The hoodies and crewnecks are crafted in compact knitted jersey for an exclusive fabric feel.

Based on our baseline evaluation for 2020, a total of 59% of our ready-to-wear were made using sustainably sourced materials, with cotton being the most prevalent fibre. Traditional cotton production is known to be very water and chemical intensive. In 2020, we made the change to using mostly organic cotton, sourcing 100% third-party certified organic cotton for all our low impact denim and our jersey line.

Cultivating organic cotton requires less water and energy, but even more importantly, it sustains the health of soils, ecosystems and people by using natural processes rather than artificial inputs. Organic farming does not allow the use of toxic chemicals or GMOs. Instead, it combines tradition and innovation to benefit the shared environment, thereby promoting good quality of life for all involved.
