Logistics Manager

Job Description
The Logistic Manager position in Tom Wood will be in lead for all logistics operations in the company, covering both B2B and B2C operations as well as suppliers. The position will be heavily involved in warehouse management, data analysis, development of ways of working and innovation, structures, control and routines. 

This position will work and touchpoint across the organization and report to the managing director.

Responsibilities
Operate a safe and efficient warehouse
Secure that orders are shipped in accordance with firm's agreements and policies
Collaborate and operate external 3PL warehouse
Organize, pick and pack shipments, as well as coordinate shipping with various shipping companies
Product control and inventory control
Coordinate and control goods in from production
Customer contact reg. logistics issues
Purchase of packaging materials
Cooperation and negotiations with various logistics suppliers, as well as continuous development of our services
Data and cost analysis related to logistics
Be cost-conscious in reg. to logistics and improve margins where possible
Development of structures, control and routines
Be updated on latest logistic-trends
Management and close cooperation with other team members

Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience from similar position
Knowledge of logistics, international freight transport, warehousing and compliance
Interest and knowledge about technical solutions and integrations
Interest in structure, order and ability to prioritize tasks
Good to communicate
Energetic, ambitious and team oriented
Ability to plan, implement and control
Knowledgeable and experienced user of digital tools
Fluent Norwegian, both written and oral, as well as very good fluency in English
Thrive in a hectic everyday life at the office
