We offer online and in-store engraving for selected jewellery, available exclusively at tomwoodproject.com and in all Tom Wood store locations. 

Online & Global orders

If you would like your piece engraved before it ships, please contact our Customer Service team prior to placing your order. Our team will guide you through choosing your font, size, and layout to ensure your design is applied before leaving our warehouse. All online engravings are carefully fulfilled and quality-checked at our Oslo headquarters.

In-store purchases

Visit our flagship store in Oslo or any of our locations in Japan to consult with our team and preview font options in person. Once you have chosen your design, our team will handle all the details: transferring your piece directly to the Tom Wood Lab in Shibuya for precision engraving, then delivering your customized piece, ready to wear.

Depending on your piece and aesthetic preference, we offer two distinct engraving techniques: deep engraving and diamond engraving. For the best result, our engraving services are available on select products only. 

DEEP ENGRAVING

Deep engraving is our classic engraving technique. Using precision machinery, it cuts deep into the metal to create a sharp, permanent result with a timeless look. Deep engraving is designed specifically for our signet rings and pieces with solid, completely flat surfaces.

DIAMOND ENGRAVCING

Diamond engraving is a subtle, delicate surface technique. Instead of cutting deep into the metal, the diamond tip scratches a fine line across the surface. The result is an elegant and soft finish, with a refined character. Diamond engraving is primarily suited for small, delicate jewellery pieces. Due to the surface-level engraving, it can be professionally polished away for future re-engraving or restoring of the surface.
