Introducing Tom Wood House, our fifth location announcing our presence in the new city. The store concept represents a unique destination in our retail universe: merging traditional, Japanese craftsmanship with an immersive space for cultural exploration, inspirational exchange and intimate dialogue.
Located in a traditional Machiya house in the heart of Sanjo-dori, Tom Wood House merges the traditions of Japanese craftsmanship with the culture of Kyoto: creating a unique space where the history and legacy of the century old home come to life.

It’s been a longtime dream to open our own Tom Wood house, to create a space for people to meet, interact and spend time together - to blend the history and culture of Norway and my origin with Japan, in a way that expands a traditional retail space.

TOM WOOD X RØROS: MONOCHROME BLANKET
Material integrity and innovation, woven through generations. Our limited-edition “Monochrome” blanket is created in collaboration with wool manufacturer Røros Tweed. Crafted from 100% Norwegian wool, the exclusive piece embodies over eighty years of textile tradition rooted in the Norwegian mountains.
KYOTO CITY RING AMETHYST
Exclusively created in 36 limited pieces, the City Ring Amethyst is the limited-edition ring handset with an amethyst stone: its violet shade reminiscent of the Kyoto City flag. The limited-edition piece is created exclusively for Tom Wood Kyoto.

Introducing the Kyoto City Ring and Pendant, the in-store exclusives available at Tom Wood Kyoto. The pieces feature an engraved motif of the Kyoto Butterfly icon, a lasting symbol of transformation, freedom, and rebirth. Crafted from 100% recycled silver, the pieces feature gold-plated and solid gold top motifs.
