The LAB offers on-site services such as jewellery repair, ring resizing, chain adjustments, gemstone exchanges: performed exclusively on Tom Wood pieces to ensure total traceability and quality control. Built on strict safety standards and sustainable practices, the modern laboratory creates an elevated retail experience, connecting in-house craftsmanship and the story of our brand.

- Rhodium plating
- Gold plating: limited operational capacity
- Resizing silver jewellery: size up or size down
- Resizing gold jewellery: size down
- Stone setting & tightening on selected signet rings
How to use our repair services
1.You can utilize our jewellery repair services without a scheduled appointment, just notify our store associates in-store.
2. Choose your desired cause of repair from the list above. Your jewellery is assessed in-store, where pricing and lead time is discussed prior to booking any repair service. For more information on pricing, please reach out to our in-store associates.
3. Allow for 2-4 weeks of completion time, depending on repair complexity, spare parts availability, and capacity. Small repairs can be adjusted on-site depending on current capacity.
General information
The LAB jewellery services are exclusively available at the Shibuya flagship store for Tom Wood store and website customers. Note that you need to showcase proof of purchase from Tom Wood upon submitting your repair service request.
For wholesale customers, jewellery repair services are handled through Fluid, our external partner in Japan. Note that pricing and lead time will differ from the timings stated above.
